That error has nothing to do with it's size.

We're not aware the condition of the files he's using after splitting there could be an extra " or ' the program placed for something selected in options etc so best bet is to use one of the methods I listed and then no need to split the file and you can bypass the 10mb limit although it could be as simple as you say we need to see the full error or more info really
