What is the difference between Social Bookmarking Manager & XML Sitemap?

or in another way:

Why is there Social Bookmarking Manager while XML Sitemap feature exists?

As far as I know the difference is that Social Bookmarking is for threads separately, XML sitemap is for all threads and posts in the whole forum

Am I right?
