I haven't played Madden in a long time but I don't see why I'd ever join a "ladder" that doesn't allow me to use the game as it was meant to be played...

Some of the other "rules" just aren't practical either- you can't control lagging for example, quit before the 2nd quarter- what if it doesn't start until the 3rd?

Also- cash games? Is that not considered gambling?
