This is because you have VBSEO installed. In your footer it says "Search Engine Friendly URLs by vBSEO 3.5.1 PL1"

That's what those URLs are called, "Search Engine Friendly" because Google and others will, all things equal, rate your site higher when keywords are used in the URL.

It's not a bad thing at all.
