Hello all,

I am now opening the first nominations thread for vB Hack of the Month. These Nominations will go to a vote at the begining of February. I hope we will see some good hacks as nominations.

Here are some guide lines partly taken over from vB Board of the Month. The only thing I left out is the seconding. We'll see how it goes. If there are too many nominations then I will add the seconding next month.

1. This month only 5 nominees will be accepted.
2. You can nominate your own hack, but you must sit out a month before you can nominate it again.
3. If your hack wins it cannot be nominated again for a year. (Maybe we'll have a Hack of the Year!)
4. If somebody else nominates your hack the month after you nominated your own, the nomination will be accepted.
5.***Important!***Nominations will only be accepted for 5 days after the start of this thread. Deadline is 19:30Hours GMT on the 20th.
6. The criteria for judging a hack is solely left to the subjective perspective of each voter. So anything goes.
7. When you make a nomination please include the a link to the hack.
8. ***Important!***All nominations recieved within the 5 days will be thrown into a hat and 5 final nominees will be pulled. This selection will be 100% random!

p.s. I would like to have a few graphics/logos like there are for Board of the Month. If someone would like to make a vB Hack of the Month logo go for it. I will then post it in the winner's circle along with credit for your work.
