Im playing about with the google CSE as well now, I dislike the native vb search functions - but am not convinced yet by the google offering. Might try out the digitalpoint sphinx search as well.

Me neither, Im running 4.06 with dozens of plugins, 4.1 on a test board, and 4.07 on another, with no sql problems at all. (sorry you two that did have problems, diagnosing it is a bit difficult )
