you have to Block the users that you dont want to view the Chatbox

In usergroup permissions
Look at the last pic on right above in Screenshot (by the coder)

set usergroup NOT able to view forums to all but your staff/member that you want

to see your usergroups goto to
admin C/p
Usergroups
Usergroup manager
Then on the right hand side of the screen you'll have user Id

Thats the number you type in
default is 1,8 (unregistered & Banned)

Then to edit like SS
goto admin c/p
Options
Vsa Chatbox
Permissions
Usergroups NOT able to view ChatBox (comma separated ID list)
