This is set to take you to index.php I had to edit usercp_vbereferrals and change the index.php to register.php.

I don't know why this isn't setup this way when it is installed, there is no way the referrer id is going to be carried forward when someone clicks from the forum (index.php) to the register page.

I also took the text control out of the link so that it shows as a link and not a button.
