I purchased vBulletin and am intending to convert my forums in the near future. But first I need to locate all the modifications i will need so I dont lose any of the features my site currently has. My current forum is running Simple Machines Forum (SMF) version 1.1.12 One of the features i have is an image/media gallery. I am aware that there are a lot of galleries out there BUT my current gallery is integrated with my SMF forums. There are a few thousands items in it (images, videos and audio)
The gallery has a special BBC code so that the images users upload to it can then be used (embedded) in posts.
My concern is that when moving away from SMF I would lose all these media files and have tons of posts that would lose their images/videos.

I dont have any idea how to handle this. I really would like any and all advice on how I can move from SMF and ths gallery without losing everything. What can I do? Are there any gallerys that will import my current?

please help... if I cant figure what to do about this... I am afraid I wont be able to switch to vBulletin even though I already bought it.
