Can someone school me on modifying the poll system?

I have searched but cannot find anything on this.

We frequently vote on meeting dates. Things change for people and rather than me having to start a new thread, it would be nice if people could change their votes accordingly.

We also have times where people will leave out something or someone else comes up with a better idea. So if people could revote after additional options are added, that would be great.

We've had these options with all our past forum software so I'm not understanding why this isn't in here.
