Ok I'm all regged up now and ready to go

I've sussed the having a forum so only mods can post in but regged users can reply in. Using the forum permissions settings.

Along these lines is it possible to have a forum where for someone to add a new thread it must be moderated 1st before it will appear but users can post replies to existing threads without moderation. I have set up the forum so that new threads require moderation but this means that replies also require moderation which I don't want.

Also is it possible to have a certain forum not visible in the main board but visible if you go directly to it? I know you can have private forums etc but I wouldn't want it private just not in the main section...
