Did you also make sure that the avatar you set in settings EXIST ?

tryed it on 3 different sites, one windowsbox, unixbox and normal freebsd. servers.
what it does, is to actually change the avatarid which means if you dont see
anything, then the avatarid is set wrong!

please be more specifik when reporting a problem, or link,
does your database user table under avatarid have any 0's ?

after running the cron job.. if looking on Cms board are you watching
your browsers cache or site cache instead of live ?
