I've been searching for a product/plugin/mod that does this:

When a post is submitted, check the censor list. If a word trips the censor, instead of letting them submit, it displays a message. Something like "Your post has tripped our censor. Please take a moment and review your post before submitting. Please review the guidelines regarding what's appropriate. If you feel this was in error, please contact the staff.".

They can then choose to edit the post, or just submit it. From this page, the submit just goes straight through.

This would cut down on a lot of moderation issues, as most of them are censor word infractions.

Also, if this has already been done, I could not find it and I'd be happy to be pointed in the right direction.
