yes it is possible and yes i use it, not in cms specifically but have tried including it in templates and it does work...i am not a coder so bbcodes usually work better for me as they are easier to manage. But if you setup flowplayer correctly I see no reason that it wouldn't work.

1. Are you using commercial flowplayer or free? It makes a difference as to what method I will post.

2.a Would you like to have your flowplayer in use as a bbcode or just a player available to pages under cms?

2.b Do you want your player setup as 1 player per page with inline playlist, or player per video that interact...(play one the others stop)

3. Do you want/have a custom flowplayer setup? If you can provide a logo or your site address that has your logo/gfx, I can make the example using your images for the splash and play buttons.

Flowplayer is pretty powerful and I wont use any other player on my sites, because of the options available setting up can be complex. I would advise looking through the flowplayer demo documentations and figure which kinda looks like your desired needs.
