I was told this "requires" a dedicated server...I am sure if you are under a load of chatters, then I can understand for the need...but would I still need dedicated for like 5-10 users in chat?
I really do not like the free version as it is not private to my forum, and the ads just
make me sick..

even other chat mods do not require dedicated, and I can
get a few chatters without going dedicated, but 123flash chat just looks better, but
will be no good if it will not work on a shared server at all.
