vb.org Archive - View Single Post - User name in non Vbulletin pages

I am working on some new pages and would like to place a small part up top on the right of the page that says "welcome (user)". I have only been able to locate some mods that would put in users viewing or login windows. Something as simple as just showing the name of the already logged in user and if they are not logged in nothing at all shows up.

Anything like this been made yet? I have searched all over the place and I have no idea how to build it my self, just being honest.
