No offense intended here but if you're the only admin, then check the obvious:
- you have checked the box for "Receive admin emails" in your UserCP
- you have checked the box for "Receive CommBull newsletter"
- you have saved these settings after checking the boxes
- you have a valid email address entered in your UserCP settings
Then check
AdminCP | Settings | Email Options:
Scroll down to
Quote:
SMTP Email
Set this option to yes to use an SMTP server rather than the internal PHP mail() function. Yes No

Set it to No. Or if it's already set to No, try setting it to Yes to bypass PHP (mail) and use SMTP.
