well a slideshow is easy if your just wanting to run some ads or pics you manually change out now and then, But it sounds like you want to grab pics people upload to a thread and have them shown randomly or something, not sure what FPSS version 1.7.2 Standalone program is about. never used it, if you just want to throw some java script in a folder to run a slide show of a select group of pics thats no problem
as far as VBA (a module) is possable too but you will still have to edit the pics manually if you want to change them out?
but i can make a hella long show...
are we on the same page ?
