Thanks for the advice. Question - do using re-directs like that impact SEO or anything?
Also, I recently moved my CMS from Drupal to WordPress, but that was only for my frontpage (which is under construction) and shouldn't have affected by vb forums which are located at mysite/forums (including the vb provided CMS), but I made the change right around the same time I installed these hacks, so I don't know what to think.
