If there was a discount like 30% or so, I'd have taken it by now even without trying. Now I am hanging on to vbExperience release. On top of that, I've installed ucash and points market....not entirely what I wanted but hey, it's free

The 3month offer wasn't there originally - it was added at the request of a customer. The different periods are related to support and updates - you'll continue to receive updates for the time period of the license =) There are bundle deals available with discounts also.
