vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Help needed to setup special editing permissions for a user

I need to setup a user to be able to edit/delete own threads. I setup a special user group for this user and allowed the user to edit/delete own threads. However the 'Time Limit on Editing of Posts' in 'Message Posting and Editing Options' is over riding this.

Is there a way of giving this particular user special permissions to edit/delete own posts?
