For instance, if you had Escaflowne, you could have them in multiple categories...

Movies : the Escaflowne Movie
Television : the 26 episodes
Soundtracks : the soundtracks
Music Videos: fanmade AMVs

And then simply tag everything with "Escaflowne"?

I have considered that although we had it like that when it was video directory. We are using the category's as anime shows for instance I changed the vbphrase "category" to "anime list" and used it that way. The way to have it perfect would be a category for Anime and have all the shows as subcats but then we would have the same issue because we can't hide the subcats in the sidebar or navbar drop down. It would be sweet to have a link to the "Anime" category and display all the subcats in alphabetical order and go from there. We used to have html codes in our category description back in VD and had every category with it's description plus images and previews, unfortunately I have not figured out how to parse such in the descriptions for the cats in this release. If you have any suggestions please check us out and if you have any pointers please let us know.
