I thought it might be YouTube as well since at times they block the embedding of certain videos. But that results in still seeing the player and a notice that embedding has been disabled by YouTube. Also, I checked the same video on another vB4 board I posted to and it was working fine. Lastly, the player didn't load at all during this period of "not working" and the description panel to the right of the player was almost full screen, which may be the way it's written.
