I'm wondering how to do this, as i'm sure i've seen it on other sites. I'm doing this on my test site, so can only provide screen shots for now.



The bit in the green line, in the left hand corner at the footer is currently in place and stays at the bottom no matter whether the page scrolls down or not.

Now I would like to do this with the icons in red, to actually have them down the left side and fixed there. For the purpose of the screenshot i have placed them there myself, they are not there on the site yet.

Any help on how I go about doing this, or at least which template needs editing to get them to appear on the left hand side?
