Clearly you are out of the loop. Even VBulletin.com looks broken in IE6, the post bits are just horrible looking, and the icons looks horrible. but how difficult can it be to fix it, with a simple icon/template fix and detection of browser type?? I would suggest that before passing judgement on threads like this you take a look at the problem. 3.8 looked fine in IE6....nothing in the sales pitch suggested that VB4 would be the trainwreck that it is in IE6 (and 7 for that matter)...but nobody seems interested in lifting a finger for the significant portion of users that have NO CHOICE in the matter. This is not laziness, it is simple reality.
Now you can call it whinging (and don't call me kid, I'm 34), but I call it being conned into believeing I was buying a Gold product, not an incompatable bug ridden piece of crap, that no developer seems to care about, and that I am forced to request special hacks on .org to fix mistakes that should have been addressed in Beta, and still have net been addressed in 4.03.
