I am trying to set up a focus group forum where only the moderator can post new threads. Right now, the "post new thread" button is visible to everyone, but if they try they get a message telling them they do not have permission.

Since some people do not use forums a lot and don't know the difference btw a thread and a reply, I would like to simplify their options.

Does anyone have a template conditional/custom code for making the "post new thread" buttons visible to only administrators?

If you can share it, and also help me with instructions on how to modify the template in the control panel, I would really appreciate it!
