I've set up a template and widget that work correctly, but I have one nagging problem...the only possible way I can get the chatbox working on my front page is to allow it on ALL pages. If anyone is curious about setting up something similar, I finally did get figured out the right combination to only show it where I wanted it to on the vbadvanced CMPS. I had thought that the correct page for display was 'adv_portal', but as it turns out it was 'adv_index'. I can post the entire process I went through if anyone wants to re-create it.
