vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Trying to Remove Navbar & Keep Header

Hi, I have a navbar in the header, but also have a second navbar in the forumhome (i think it's forumhome?) that i am trying to get rid of. I tried removing $navbar from forumhome of the style template, but the navbar is still displaying. See attached picture.

I did do a search but a few posts said remove the $navbar which I did, but it isn't working. Any ideas? Thank you for the help!
