You shouldn't delete your forum and restore just because you want to remove a plugin you didn't like. To delete a plugin you uninstall it from your admin panel and then you delete the specific files from your server. You don't delete your entire forum and then restore, that's a really bad habit and will cause you major headaches down the road if your forum grows bigger.
But what's done is done, live and learn. Did you check phpMyAdmin to make sure that your database restored correctly? Are all of the tables there?
