Very good point in that; I've tried both and right now everything is fine; apparently logging in through admincp and then choosing to be redirected to the forums keeps me logged in. I'll be trying what you said Lynne when I get off in about 4 hours, I'll keep you posted on what I find.

Wanted to let you know it indeed was not having the www in front of the site, I was amazed at something so simple being the culprit, and thanks for suggesting I try this.
