Anytime anyone tries to upload an avatar using a url or upload one form their computer they get this error

url avatars won't upload it says Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file.

Even though there is an error when uploading an av from the computer the avatar saves.

I have tried disabling all of my hacks to see if that is the issue but nothing has worked.
