Well, I only wanted the "Welcome" area and finally ended up finding the information that I needed (see this thread if you are looking for that information: http://vbulletin.org/forum/showthrea...threadid=32501).

My final results are pretty good (Charr The Grimm Fate Forums) only I'm having a few little problems.

1) When someone selects an avatar from those provided (vs. uploading their own) they get the "noavatar.gif" instead of the one which they selected.

2) I couldn't figure out how to make the templates: forumhome, forumhome_unregmessage & forumhome_welcometext work together seamlessly .. so for unregisered folks the standard message isnt' exactly where I would like for it to be.

3) Also, I would have liked for the "guestavatar.gif" to be linked to the registration page .. but I can't figure out how to do this.

All in all though I'm very pleased with how it's turned out. With some luck some of the great minds on this site can figure out answers for my 3 problems above.
