Strangely, I've seen this asked before, even though it's a kind of a silly concept. I mean, bots are getting better all the time, but afaik nobody has ever built one that could create a new user and ask a cogent question. Much less make a cogent followup.

But there are "posting services" - humans that get paid to generate traffic. We once tried hiring a few local people for something like $10 for 30 new threads per month. It at least makes the site look used. But it didn't work and after a few months we gave up on it.
