Considering I saw this the other week and it looked horrible (did not want to say or sound like a prick, working on that AMG site now

) but now it looks much better.

Menu speed - It might simply be a snippet of code to change in the menus css you'll have to post it for us to see or maybe even in a js file if it uses one etc and also make it so it does not overlap the navigation links when dropped down (for me in Firefox at least).
