I know nothing about Brightcove except what a quick web search turned up. On the front page of their website it says the express edition is available for $99/mo. I just assumed that's the cheapest one. You may know more about it, but to me it seems to be a video publishing service, not a public format like Flash or h264 which use their own players.

I don't remember the style question but I'm glad you figured it out. Sometimes I don't really know an answer, but prodding people to look at the problem again can get them to fix it themselves.
