This isn't very helpful because it sounds like you remember a Mod that makes this much much easier but....................

What I've done in the past to tweak things like this is to go into my phpAdmin on the server side, typically through cPanel or whatever your server has running on the backend, and I just go in and tweak the original content in the tables of the database.

This is good if you have maybe less than 20 items to tweak. But if you have a ton, then this could get annoying really fast. Hopefully someone can help you better than this.
