Does anyone know how I go about converting forum posts into Blog entries?

I have hundreds of threads created in my forum section that are "blogs" essentially. But now that "blogs" are a totally different environment with the latest vB versions, I'd like to remove those old threads and migrate them over into the BLOG environment. Maintaining the creation dates, and corresponding responses to that original thread post.
