"Should" is the operative word here. I agree it should. But I can confirm that it doesn't work in 4.02.
I just tried it again:
- <!--@vbbanners:0@--> inserted after first post works
- <!--@vbbanners:1@--> inserted below navbar, above footer, and below threadlist does NOT display.
