Has anyone seen or could customize a plugin that would automatically in a certain forum create and annouce a new member who has registered? And if they are accepted from moderation be announced in general Intro thread to users?

Similar in nature to VSa Auto Reply but instead of waiting til someone posts, to keep it all in one thread and create that thread based on usergroups?
