You have to edit the vbcms_searchresult_thread template and add in the following code (which just comments out the relevant section) as I've shown in red:

This takes out views etc as well, if you want them in then just move the --> to the appropriate place.

On my forum need to change the CSS for the titles, if you'd like to know where/how to do thisI'll post it up when/if I find it
