Actually, I just thought of a practical use for two versions. We want a thread about Snow Removal Services that local plow people can post to with their phone numbers. But already after the first post people have started chattering. I can see where, in order to make the article useful, we would delete all the chatter, leaving only the advertisers.

But in the forum, we expect people to chatter away.
