This add-on does not result in any errors. I just doesn'r result in any banners either.

If it helps to diagnose, I cannot get anything to display in the "before quick reply" location even using vBulletin's own manually insert ads templates. I've been assuming that's a still unfixed bug in 4.01 (there are a LOT of those).

Yeah, first we have to make sure you show anything else of course, before to blame any plugin ... if you put an 'X' in an ad template and it does not show up, anything else won't either

I'm about to release 2.2.2, which adds some of the frequently asked features and which was fully tested on 4.0.1, too. The reason why it still works on 4.x is the fact it does not use any own variables within templates, and because I'm lucky enough to have chosen this road
