Can anybody help with a Forumban Mod for vB 3.8.4 please ?

I would like to limit the scope of moderator powers so that they apply to just one forum?

Example:

I want Fred to moderate the Games forum and be able to ban a user from Games only.
I would like the banned user to have access to the other forums while still banned from Games.

Ideally with a built in ban notification PM and automatic lift of bans.

I seem to be only able to give moderators very broad sitewide powers and of course I can't allow the AdminCp privileges to use the Forum Access Mask

There is a mod by Zoints here but it doesn't work for 3.8.4
