I cannot send anymore mails and I would like to know why so many mails have been sent in 1 hour - this is what I receive:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

  administrator@mydomain.net
    ":fail: Domain mydomain.net has exceeded the max emails per hour (150)
allowed. Message discarded."

I have contacted my provider and the limit has been increased 3 times, but... why this is happening?


I took a look at the file: public_html/emaillogging.log.log and I checked how many emails have been sent today and yesterday. Less than 30 emails have been sent today and less than 30 emails have been sent yesterday.

We are far from the 150 mails per hour.


My ISP said that the email address sending those emails is forum@mydomain.net - and this email address is the one configured in -> control panel -> VB Options -> E-Mail options -> SMTP Username & SMTP Password

How to track those emails sent from this email address?


Please help
