link to the website will be needed or the code you used for your sidebar. I think this is because you added a <br /> somewhere in the code on top, if you check your navbar template there should be several <br /> try removing the closest to the top and see if that helps. If not try some others, if you cant get it post back here with a link and ill check it out for you.
