May I ask, under what circumstances, or, what vBSEO rep had a modification to the LS code pulled from vb.org?
We are all for making things as easy and hassle free as possible. The beta LS was made a plugin, however, it was
made clear when first released that the ultimate goal was to make it SaaS, and hosting those files was a first step towards that goal.
We have recently devised a method for async js file loading, and will be applying it to LS in the near future. That should resolve any issues with slow loads if vbseo is down for whatever reason. That said, you guys are free to do your own modifications and host the files on your servers, no problem. Once the new file loading approach is implemented, I see this becoming less of an issue though.
