To get memeber info on top - vboptions > Style & Language Settings > Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template > No

Those items could just be a user profile field that shows an image based on what is selected. There is an article in the vb3 section on how to add those to the postbit (search postbit in titles only in there). Just change to the vb4 syntax.
