Not exactly no. Its a different approach for the same goal: Instead of having multiple installations and connection them all, this is one installation (which means everything is integrated ), but in such a way that the installation can be used on multiple domains and also look like multiple domains. A user will not see the difference and it seems to me that its a whole lot easier to manage.

Ohh darn, we'd actually wanted multiple installations, for we'd have a team for each board, managing their own board as it's needed. Would this be possible?
