Can someone please! help me! I'll keep it as SHORT as possible:

1), Going to the AdminCP
2), Go to Site Name / URL / Contact Details
3), Changing FORUM URL from HTTP://forum.xxxx.com to forum.xxx.com
4), Chat box no longer works!

Why is the HTTP at front needed? I wish for people to use both http and https.. hence I removed the http. Any help, please! Third time I'm asking, and no one replies to my question.
