Is this a test site for mods or you made a copy to test an upgrade to vB 4.0?

Ok well no time to wait so I'm assuming since you posted in the vB4 area it is for vB4 Test Upgrade.
Quote:
1.Do I run a upgrade script for the testforums - testforums/install/upgrade.php?
2.Any edits required for the setting AdminCP >vBulletin Options > Cookies and HTTP setting > Path to save cookies? For info the Path to cookies in my live forum is "/"
3.Any edits required in the .htaccess file of testvb?

***Before anything make sure you have the minimum system requirements found here:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...m-Requirements
1. If your ready to test the copy of your live site for upgrade to vB4 then yes but you need to upload all the vB4 files before you run the upgrade script. Also have you disabled all mods etc and reverted to the default style? More info on disabling mods here:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...grading-to-4-0
2. I would set that to the folder the name i.e. it should have it selectable so yes. Also make sure in the admincp the url's have been updated to reflect the new location of the site since it believes it is your live site, you and me know it's a test

.
3. I would rename it and see if it works without it. There is some info here:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...-URLs-htaccess but if your using UTF8 or any languages you will need to enable the low quality urls I forget the term they have in admicp.
Gold release should be monday.
